David Novak is an award-winning storyteller, author and actor. He has performed on the main stage at the nation’s top storytelling festivals and as a featured storyteller at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival. He holds a BFA from Southern Methodist University and an MFA from the University of California at San Diego. Audiences from Hawaii to New York and around the world find his style captivating. He is a recipient of the Oscar of the storytelling world, the Circle of Excellence Award from the National Storytelling Network, and is a Master Storyteller for the Disney Institute.
David was part of the Black Mountain College Museum + Art Center’s Re-VIEWING Black Mountain Conference Buckminster Fuller, performing at NC Stage Company in D.W. Jacob‘s one-man play R. Buckminster Fuller: THE HISTORY (and Mystery) OF THE UNIVERSE. He continues to perform an abridged version of this production in venues around the country.
